Brief description

The Argentinian Science & Technology Electronic Library was created in December 2002, by Resolution No. 253/2002, as a result of a mutual agreement with Brazil, according to the Law No 25467 of Science, Technology & Innovation.

It is dependent on the Subsecretariat of Institutional Coordination, part of the Ministry of Science, Technology & Productive Innovation, and an Advisory Board has the responsibility of advising the Ministry and the "Consejo Interinstitucional de Ciencia y Técnica" (CICYT) in everything concerning the Library's operation and selection of contents.

It is basically a web site that offers access through the internet to full texts of electronic books, scientific & technological journals, referential data bases, abstracts, and other bibliographical information -national and international- concerning every subject of interest related to Science & Technology.

The service is available to researchers, teachers, students and authorized officials of Public Universities and Science & Technology Institutions all around our country.
