Brief description

RERO is a network of libraries from the French-speaking part of Switzerland using a common cataloging system. It involves some 600 librarians working in 180 research and reference libraries grouped in five major entities reflecting the political structure of the 5 French speaking (2 of them have German-speaking parts) cantons of Switzerland, under the auspices of the University Conference of Western Switzerland (CUSO). RERO serves five universities with an enrollment of approximately 35,000 students. Their libraries serve a public of over 100,000 readers in the regions where they are located.
