Brief Description: 

The Alberta Library is a consortium of 49 member libraries in over 300 locations whose mission is strengthening communities through collaboration. Members include public, university, college, technical institute and special libraries.
The Alberta Library is the result of the library community coming together to find better ways of providing services.  TAL provides a variety of services and administers the Online Reference Centre (ORC) for K-12 schools on behalf of Alberta Education.
