Brief Description: 

TRAILS (Treasure State Academic Information & Library Services) is a newly formed (2016) consortium of Montana’s academic libraries, including every one of the state’s 24 public, private, tribal, community college, and university institutions. Through collaborative efforts, TRAILS provides all of Montana’s students, faculty, staff, and researchers access to high-quality information resources. Using services such as a joint Library Services Platform, cooperative group purchasing, shared resources, and combined training and knowledge, the academic libraries of Montana bring an improved experience to their users while mitigating the escalating costs of library materials in higher education.
