NYSHEI represents the public and private academic and research libraries of New York.  With around 150 member institutions - from 28 community colleges to 9 ARL institutions - NYSHEI is among the largest state-based academic library organizations, and the only one dedicated to advocacy.

NYSHEI is located in Albany, New York and is committed to engaging policy makers to promote and protect the interests of our member institutions.

NYSHEI is a private 501(c)3 not-for-profit and is funded solely by member dues.
