The Colombia Consortium is the result of more than two years of work in which Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of National Education, ASCUN, CONSORTIA and 19 public and private institutions that participated as representatives of the IES of their region, contributed to the development of a methodology for the study, selection, prioritization and negotiation with different publishers, which resulted in the country being able to present to the world, a structured National Consortium, with the most relevant collections of scientific information in the world and with the participation of 63 institutions.
