Democratising Knowledge, Amplifying Impact

The Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link), established under Article 17 of Law 3404/2005 (Government Gazette A' 260), plays a central role in supporting Greek research excellence and impact.

Its mission, as a shared service amongst 43 members, is:

  1. To drive strategic policy making for the Greek research ecosystem
  2. To lead consortial license negotioations
  3. To provide seamless access to scholarly resources
  4. To advance open research practices, including -but not limited to- open access, open data, open infrastructure 
  5. To support Greek authors to publish the outputs of their research openly
  6. To make responsible use of public funding and evidence-based decision making

Together with other stakeholders, we are shaping a more connected, inclusive and impactful research ecosystem for Greece.
