INASP

Putting Research Knowledge at the Heart of Development

INASP is an international development charity working with a global network of partners to improve access, production and use of research information and knowledge, so that countries are equipped to solve their development challenges.

INASP works with library consortia or equivalent coordinating bodies in 21 partner countries within Africa, Asia and Latin America:

  1. to support the strongest consortia to develop the capacity they need to take full responsibility from INASP for providing the ‘access to e-resources’ service to their members. This includes negotiating and licensing; managing access and enabling use; and providing continued training to members.
  2. to support emerging consortia to take greater responsibility, so that they are doing more to manage the ‘access to e-resources’ service for their members.
