Long Island Library Resources Council

Bridging the Long Island Library Community

The Long Island Library Resources Council (LILRC) is one of New York’s nine Library Resources Systems.

As a regional multi-type library organization serving academic, special, public, school libraries and library systems in Nassau and Suffolk counties, our purpose is to enhance access to information, encourage resource sharing, and promote library interests for all LILRC members.

LILRC is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt not for profit organization. LILRC is the administrator of the following New York State grants for Suffolk and Nassau County: Regional Bibliographic Databases and Interlibrary Loan Resources Sharing Program (RBDB), Hospital Library Service Program (HLSP), and the Medical Information Services Program (MISP).
