The Network of Alabama Academic Libraries (NAAL,) a not-for-profit consortium of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education and Alabama’s eligible public and private four-year colleges and universities, coordinates academic library resource sharing to enhance education and research.
Through NAAL, libraries…
• Provide students and researchers with just-in-time scholarly resources,
• Borrow and loan library materials freely to one another,
• Preserve and promote digital content,
• Educate and inform library faculty and staff,
• And collaborate with other organizations to provide all Alabamians with educational and informational resources via the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL.)
